[11/13/20] Governor Ricketts has tightened health measures in Nebraska. We have already been requiring our staff and patrons to wear masks. We are lucky enough to have our stations further than a 6 foot distance between each other. We have shields in the manicure and pedicure area so there is a barrier between us and our client.
The Norfolk area has been adding hundreds of positive tests weekly. This is starting to make us wonder if salons will be considered high risk and will be mandated to close again. We are praying that doesn’t happen, but if you need any services you may want to get them done sooner than you may have been thinking. Again, we are praying that mandates won’t make us close, and praying that life will get back to normal soon.
Love you all! Stay safe!![11/12/20] With the numbers of people testing positive with Covid we started requiring everyone to wear masks a couple of weeks ago. We truly love our clients and pray everyone will stay free from contracting this horrible virus. Daily prayers that it will go away soon!! Like and share this post and be entered into a drawing to win surface gift package valued at $85! TJ grew up behind the scenes watching Linda create her dream salon. Following his passion he graduated from Xenon Academy in 2015. He worked in Oregon for 2 1/2 years until he realized his heart was still in Nebraska and joined the salon industry in Omaha until the Pandemic hit. Much soul searching has lead TJ back to his roots in Norfolk and he will work beside his mentor by joining Visible Changes, continuing to follow his passion and dream. TJ loves it all, including colors, haircuts, facials, waxing. Follow TJ's instagram page @ Hairmagic_Breisch to see his creations. We’ve got you covered! Protective shields between the guest and team member for manicures and pedicures. We have 4 pedicure chairs so are able to have more than 6’ between each guest. Sanitation has always been important to us, and we are going extra steps to make you feel safe.[05/09/20] Marisa will be starting back to work on June 2nd if you want to schedule appointments![05/09/20] We are excited to reopen and welcome all our friends back to the salon. For the safety of our staff and clients there are Directed Health Measures that have changed how we conduct business. We thank you in advance for following these guidelines. We want all of you to feel safe and comfortable during your visit.
1. If you are sick or have a family member who is sick please reschedule. 2. With a 6’ rule only one person is allowed with each staff member, so please come alone. You may accompany your child, but if you have more than one child and scheduled with the same stylist we ask you to bring them one at a time. 3. When you arrive please stay in your car until we come and get you. We want to make sure everything is sanitized before you come in. 4. Please keep unnecessary things in your car, such as jackets, purse, etc. 5. We are all required to wear masks. Before you enter the building please wear one, or if you don’t have one we will have one available for you. 6. You will be asked to use hand sanitizer when you come in.
Thank you for your understanding, with everyone’s help we will maintain a safe environment![05/09/20] We can open next Wednesday!!! If you would like to make an appointment call the salon number, it is still forwarded and I can get you scheduled. So exciting!
Please read required Direct Health Measure Requirements[05/02/20] The health measures are still keeping all salons in our district closed. They say it’s undetermined on when they will let us open. Likely it won’t be before May 31st. We are praying it won’t be any longer than that! We miss all of you and can’t wait to see all our precious friends in our chairs again![04/25/20] ELVPHD currently has 74 positive COVID-19 cases in the district. There are 117 tests pending in addition to those. One week ago, there were only 18 positive cases in the district. This marks a 4-fold increase in cases over the last seven days. Due to this rapid escalation, the Governor’s Office, Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, and ELVPHD have agreed that now is not the time to relax the Directed Health Measures (DHMs) in our district. We are working on at least one more mass-testing event, and will release details when those are available. The counties shaded in blue below will have relaxed DHMs (not relaxed immediately, though) due to a slowing of virus activity in their areas. ELVPHD will have their DHMs extended until at least May 31st, at which time the date will be re-evaluated based upon virus activity in the area. More details in regards to how the extended DHMs affect each sector will be released next week after a signed copy of the DHMs is received.
For now, it continues to be of utmost importance to continue following social distancing, view everyone that you come in contact with as a potential carrier, and stay home.
More details will be provided as soon as we can. Thank you.[04/22/20] I thought that all salons in Nebraska were only shut down until April 30th. Governor Ricketts was on the radio just now and there was question about salons. He said they are still working on what they are doing, but the directed health measure for each county is different. We are supposed to stay tuned, but Madison county’s date is May 6th. Darn!!! The earliest we would be open would be Thursday, May 7th. Praying, crossing fingers & toes that this will be our date to get back into the salon and see all of our beautiful friends again!!! We will look forwards to getting back to what we love! If you need any products or want to make an appointment for when we get to see you again call the salon number. The phone is still forwarded to my cell so I can meet you if you need products. Thank you![04/07/20] The salon will not be open today, Tuesday, April 7th. Thirty years ago was our wedding day. We are going to spend this beautiful day at the golf course. I will be taking appointments for the rest of the week. Tomorrow there are only a few more appointments available. This past week was a testing of the hours Linda will be at the salon. We were going to try 3 days a week, but quickly realized that the salon needs to be open more hours than that, especially Saturday’s. We will see how next week goes, it may be that regular hours are put back in place the following week. We will keep you updated if there are any changes.[03/31/20] IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to health concerns with the COVID-19 we are changing our scheduling. Linda is the only person who will be scheduled until the health measures for our area are back to normal. We have no idea if and when the health department will tell us we have to temporarily close.
The phone number for the salon will be transferred to Linda’s cell phone for the time being. The salon will only be open for scheduled appointments. We are going to try to schedule Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but if that doesn’t work for you then we will try to schedule at a convenient time.
Thank you for your understanding.[03/30/20] I just talked to the health department. As of now they are not making salons close. I am going to continue to be at the salon as long as I can. They will keep me updated if they require us to close. If you want your hair done you need to make appointments asap!! You never know when things will change! Tomorrow I am going to transfer the salon number to my cell phone. I will adjust hours of the salon to be by appointment only, possibly only 3 days a week. Surface Liter Duos are now 45% OFF there original price!! Help us welcome Nancy back to Visible Changes by calling and making your next massage with her!! Dates have changed! Nancy will be here March 20th snd 21st.[02/22/20] Nancy had a great turnout of people asking for massages yesterday so decided to come in again today if anyone is interested in a little relaxation![02/21/20] Nancy is still accepting a couple more appointments for massages today. I was lucky enough to receive one. I forgot how good her massages are!![02/19/20] Nancy Schott was a massage therapist here a few years ago. She moved out of the area and set up her practice there. Nancy will be in our salon this Friday and is taking appointments for massages. If you are interested give us a call!!
